Hanoi (VNA) – Vietnam Airlines has been selected as one of the global TripAdvisor community's favourite airlines along with  other 4- and 5-star airlines of Asia such as Singapore Airlines, Japan Airlines, Cathay Pacific, and EVA Air.

The world’s biggest travel website announced the list of its Travelers’ Choice Major Airlines – Asia 2018 on April 9, which is an annual prestigious award that TripAdvisor set up basing on the quantity and quality of passengers’ reviews and ratings for airlines worldwide in 12 months.

The traveler community on TripAdvisor evaluated airlines basing on eight criteria, namely customer service, seat comfort, legroom, cleanliness, food and drink, flight procedures, entertainment, and value matching cost.

“Great service, comfortable lie flat beds. Good food with great choices, clean toilet. Smoothest landing ever! We also flew with them from Yangon to Hanoi and back to Paris, same good experiences…,” a passenger from Lyon (France) reviewed the Business Class of Vietnam Airlines for the Paris-Hanoi flight.

Another passenger from Melbourne (Australia) reviewed the Premium Economy Class of Vietnam Airlines:“Upgraded and were extremely happy with the service, gave us priority boarding and luggage collection, which was great. More leg room and bigger seats. Well worth the extra cost. Friendly staff, the food, well it’s airline food, what more you can say.”

With a widespread flight network featuring more than 90 air routes to destinations in Vietnam and around the world, Vietnam Airlines – the national flag career of Vietnam - is one of the key airlines of Vietnam and the region. It owns a fleet of nearly 100 aircraft, many of them are the latest wide-body planes like Boeing 787-9 and Airbus A350, bringing exceptional comfort to customers. Vietnam Airlines’ service quality was rated four stars by SkyTrax – a prestigious airline rating organization of the UK – in two consecutive years. The airline is also highly evaluated by international passengers for cultural identity shown in each flight. It was named the World’s Leading Cultural Airline in 2017 by the World Travel Awards.-VNA
