The national flag carrier, Vietnam Airlines, has announced an increase of 13 more flights between Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi from October 7-11, to meet the travelling demand during the millennium anniversary of Thang Long-Hanoi.

The additional flights brought the total flights on the route to an average of 32 per day, providing a capacity of 8,860 seats a day.

Aircraft serving during the festival are the 150-seat Airbus 320, the 184-seat Airbus A321, the 266-seat Airbus 330 and the 282-seat Airbus 330./.
