An Airbus 330-200 aircraft, manufactured in the French city of Toulouse for Vietnam Airlines, arrived at the Noi Bai International Airport in Hanoi on Nov. 30.

This is the 11 th A330 craft in the fleet of the national flag carrier.

Vietnam Airlines plans to expand its fleet to 115 and 170 aircraft by 2015 and 2020 respectively.

This year, the carrier expects to carry more than 14 million passengers and 193,000 tonnes of cargo, representing 20 percent and 16 percent increases, respectively in comparison with last year.

In 2011, the corporation hopes to reach a revenue of 45.5 trillion VND (2.2 billion USD), a year-on-year increase of 28 percent./.
