Vietnam and Cambodia cities strengthen ties

At the reception, leaders of the Vietnamese and Cambodian cities agreed to elevate cooperation in all fields, particularly in exchanging experience and professional knowledge between agencies of both cities.

The organisation of various cultural activities celebrating 45 years of Vietnam- Cambodia diplomatic ties was also discussed.

Chairman Mop Sarin thanked Vietnam and Ho Chi Minh City while recalling the help of Vietnam in fighting Khmer Rouge genocide and reviving the country. Mop Sarin also emphasised that the solidarity of the two countries and two cities should be further developed by younger generations of both Vietnam and Cmbodia.

The Vietnamese delegation will conclude their two-day Cambodia visit on Mar. 9.-VNA
