Four enterprises from Vietnam are attending the 50th International Fair of Algiers at the Palais des Expositions (Exhibition Palace) in Algiers, Algeria from May 8 to 13.

Algiers (VNA) – Four enterprises from Vietnam are attending the 50th International Fair of Algiers at the Palais des Expositions (Exhibition Palace)in Algiers, Algeria from May 8 to 13.

Algerian PrimeMinister Abdelmalek Sellal attended the event’s opening ceremony on May 8.

The fair, themed “50years in the service of the Algerian economy”, features 536 Algerian companiesand approximately 500 foreign exhibitors from 34 countries. Vietnamese firms mostlybrought farm produce, souvenirs and clothing.

Bad debt settlement fully benefits from new policy from H2 2026

Resolution 42, enacted in 2017 to pilot bad debt settlement for credit institutions, was introduced in response to a sharp rise in non-performing loans (NPLs). It empowered credit institutions to seize and liquidate collateral assets, expediting debt recovery.
