The Vietnamese Embassy in Buenos Aires participated in the fifth Craft Fair Mercosur 2015 which was held from October 7-12 in Iguazu city in the province of Misiones, northern Argentina.

The annual event featured handiworks from Brazil, Bolivia, Ecuador, Paraguay, Peru and Argentina in 250 booths.

At the exhibition, foreign visitors showed their interests in Vietnamese products, including embroidered paintings, silk and lacquer works.

The Vietnamese delegation’s presence at the event was to promote the image of Vietnam’s land, people and tourism potential, and contributed to speeding up the signing of an agreement to establish twin relationship between Misiones province and the northern province of Quang Ninh, helping fully tap tourism potential of their world natural wonders, namely Iguazu Fall in Misiones and Ha Long Bay in Quang Ninh.

In April, a delegation of craftsmen from Misiones visited Ho Chi Minh City to attend an exhibition on handicrafts and wooden products.-VNA
