The texts on show describe the historic
and cultural lives of the Vietnamese people. In addition, a number of
photographs have gone on display, capturing former President Ho Chi
Minh’s visits to India.
A special Vietnamese bookstore,
chaired by President of the India-Vietnam Solidarity Committee Geetesh
Sharma, is attracting special attention of thousands of visitors.
The 12-day event, which opened on January 28 and is displaying books
from 25 countries, has already been attended by over 200 writers, poets
and an estimated 2 million visitors.
During the fair,
Kolkata’s large annual cultural event, a Vietnamese delegation
