Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Le Duong Quang is leading a Vietnamese delegation to join the sixth international forum AtomExpo held in Moscow, Russia, from June 9-11.
Themed “Atomic kilowatt hour: A new product in the energy market”, the event creates a good chance for participants to discuss the development trends of nuclear power and nuclear technology for peaceful purposes.
The Vietnamese representative will take part in a plenary meeting which focuses on the topic “Nuclear power – condition for energy stability”.
First held in Moscow in 2009, the annual AtomExpo has become one of the major world events dedicated for the most topical issues in the nuclear energy industry.
Last year, the forum drew over 2,000 participants from 42 countries and territories around the world. About 800 delegates from 275 organisations delivered presentations and reports at the plenary meeting.-VNA
