More than 50 Vietnamese businesses are attending the 18th International Crafts Selling Exhibition in Milan on the occasion of Vietnam Year in Italy and the 40th anniversary of diplomatic ties between the two countries.

Their more than 50 stands form a Vietnam craft product space at the exhibition, one of the world’s largest of this kind.

The Vietnamese Embassy in Italy in coordination with Ge.Fi. Group and Lombardy authorities arranged for the businesses’ participation in the fair, wrapping up the “Vietnam Days in Milan ” which have lasted nearly 3 months with 16 events.

At the opening ceremony of the Vietnam craft product space on November 30, Ambassador Nguyen Hoang Long said the participation of businesses at the event presented the image of Vietnam as a country that is friendly, open and famous for handicraft products that have been exported to 163 countries around the world.

The space will remain open until December 8.-VNA
