Vietnam attends Seoul Defence Dialogue

More than 100 senior defence officials from 15 countries and twointernational organisations are participating in the SDD-2012 talks.

This year’s multi-lateral forum, with the slogan“Cooperation for Peace and Security”, focuses on finding solutions forsecurity challenges in Asia-Pacific and web security. Participants willexchange views on how to effectively promote defence activities.

The Vietnamese delegation will deliver a speech on the country’sdefence policy, the proliferation of weapons of mass destruction in theworld and Vietnam ’s viewpoint on the nuclear issue of the DemocraticPeople’s Republic of Korea .

Vietnam plans to hold bilateral talks with other partners during the event.-VNA

List of members of 14th Party Central Committee announced

The 14th National Congress of the Communist Party of Vietnam on January 22 afternoon announced the results and approved the list of 200 newly-elected members of the 14th Party Central Committee, including 180 official members and 20 alternate members.
