The 2010 Vietnam International Automobile & Supporting Industries Exhibition and Conference (Vietnam AutoExpo) opened in Hanoi on June 9.
Covering a site of over 10 km2, the exhibition shows numerous kinds of vehicles, from middle to high-end cars and motorbikes as well as vehicles for the construction, mining and transportation industries.
Engines and components, maintenance, repair and banking services provided by over 200 domestic and foreign businesses for supporting industries are also on display.
On addressing the event, Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Nguyen Thanh Bien praised the achievements the Vietnamese automobile and motorbike sector has made in recent years. The event would help businesses promote trade and find potential partners and customers, he said./.
