Vo AnhQuan netted a double for the hosts in the last 10 minutes of the match afterKyaw Min Khant of Myanmar opened the scoring in the 43rd minute.
Inanother match, the Republic of Korea trounced Russia 6-0 to top the table.
Earlier, Vietnamdefeated Russia 2-0 in their first match on August 26.
Striker Cai Van Quy scored both goals, the firstin the 54th minute and the second 12 minutes later.
Meanwhile, the Republic of Korea (RoK) defeated Myanmar 6-1.
Lasting until August 30 at the Ba Ria city stadium, theAcecook Cup features teams from Myanmar, RoK, Russia and hosts Vietnam.
After competing in a round-robin format, the squad with thehighest points will be crowned champion.
Vietnam,who are in second place, will play the Republic of Korea in the last match on August30.
While thevisitors just need a draw to secure the trophy, Vietnam must take awin for the title due to the Republic of Korea's better goaldifference.
