Former Asian champion Duong Anh Vu beat Domagoj Hum from Croatia 2-0while his teammate Dang Dinh Tien – who triumphed at the recent thirdAsian Indoor Games 1 – cushion event – trounced Nadir Paulovic 2-0 ingroup E.

Their next match is against strong Spanish players Daniel Sanchez, whois world No. 6, and Ruben Legazpi No. 25. Vu is No. 19 and Tien No. 245.

The winner of the match will enter the quarter finals./.
