Vietnam, Belgium cooperate in scientific research

A framework agreement to this effect has been signed between the Vietnamese National Foundation for Science and Technology Development under the Ministry of Science and Technology and Belgium ’s Research Foundation – Flanders (FWO).
Accordingly, each side will provide 300,000 EUR per year for these joint research projects in mathematics, information, computing, physics, chemistry, biology, medical and health science, engineering, materials science, agriculture, geo science and environment.
These subjects, which may have an expenditure of up to 70,000 EUR per year for each, are scheduled to be carried out within two years, as from 2010./.
