A 40 billion VND project was launched on Sept. 20 to build infrastructure facilities for the Vietnamese Department of the Lao National University .
Funded by non-refundable aid granted by the Vietnamese Government, the project is carried out by the Military Zone IV’s Economic Cooperation Corporation. It will include a three-storey building, a library and other auxiliary works.
At the ground-breaking ceremony, Lao Deputy Minister of Education and Sports Lytou Puapao thanked the Vietnamese Party, Government and people for their provision of funding for the project.
The project will help Laos improve Vietnamese skills for Lao students and cadres before sending them to Vietnam for further study, he said./.
