Vietnam, Bulgaria procuracies ink cooperation agreement

The Supreme Procuracies of Vietnam and Bulgaria have signed a cooperation agreement to set up a legal foundation to foster their connection in the coming time.

Under the document,inked during the visit of Prosecutor General of the Vietnamese SupremePeople’s Procuracy Nguyen Hoa Binh to Bulgaria from April 23-26, the twocountries’ procuracy sectors will share information pertaining to crimeprevention and support each other in personnel training and legalresearch.

During his stay, Prosecutor General Binh held talkswith his Bulgarian counterpart Sotir Tsatsarov, where they sharedexperience in fighting crimes.

He was received byBulgarian Vice President Margarita Popova, who expressed her hope thatBulgaria will serve as a bridge connecting Vietnam with European marketsand Vietnam will help link Hungary with other ASEAN member nations.

Margarita Popova affirmed that she will do her utmost to step up judicial cooperation between the two nations.

Accordingto Vietnamese Ambassador to Bulgaria Le Duc Luu, two-way trade betweenVietnam and Bulgaria hit nearly 100 million USD in 2014. The Europeancountry has operated 11 projects worth 58 million USD in Vietnam.

In his visit to Vietnam in 2014, Bulgarian President Rosen Plevnelivput forth a new bilateral cooperation model. Accordingly, Vietnam willship its goods to Bulgaria’s ports for processing before going to othercountries.-VNA

Vietnam, China sign 32 cooperation documents

The documents include a cooperation plan between the Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV) and the Communist Party of China (CPC) for the 2026–2030 period; a memorandum of understanding (MoU) on cooperation between the Organisation Commission of the CPV Central Committee and its Chinese counterpart; and a cooperation agreement between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Vietnam and the International Liaison Department of the CPC Central Committee.
