The Vietnamese Businesspeople Association in France (ABVietFrance) and the France Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Vietnam (CCIFV) will coordinate in trade promotion, and culture healthcare and education development between the two countries.

Under their newly-signed cooperation agreement, the two sides will assist each other in organising events, seminars and market survey programmes for Vietnamese businesses in France and French businesses in Vietnam to promote bilateral investment and trade relations between the two countries’ businesses, especially small and medium-sized enterprises.

ABVietFrance President Nguyen Hai Nam said cooperating with CCIFV will gather experienced overseas Vietnamese entrepreneurs from different sectors to promote trade exchange between France, other European Union members and Vietnam.

The establishment of representative offices in Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi has helped widen the relationship with domestic companies and foreign organisations in Vietnam, Nam said.

For his part, CCIFV President Pierre-Jean Malgouvres said within the framework of this comprehensive cooperation, CCIFV will actively act as a trade bridge between Vietnam and France and effectively assist activities of CCIFV and ABVietFrance members.
