Kien Giang province on August 29 gave 50 wheelchairs to the disabled in Cambodia’s Kep province and granted scholarships worth 2,000 USD to the Cambodian students.

The presents were handed over by the Vietnam-Cambodia Friendship Association’s Chapter in Kien Giang and Kien Giang’s Union of Friendship Organisations at a debut ceremony of the executive board of the Cambodia-Vietnam Friendship Association in Kep province.

Private computers and an initial financial support of 500 USD were also given to the province on this occasion.

The ceremony was attended by Cambodian Standing Deputy Prime Minister Men Sam An and Chairman of Kien Giang’s Union of Friendship Organisations Le Van Hong who is on a working visit to Kep province.

During his stay in Cambodia, Hong and his entourage visited some landscapes, cultural and historical relic sites in Phnom Penh./.
