Vietnamese and Chinese experts have discussed cooperation for co-development at sea during their 4th round of negotiations from March 13-15 in the central city of Da Nang.
The two sides agreed to continue implementing the common perceptions of high-ranking leaders from both countries and comply with the agreed basic principles guiding the settlement of issues at sea between Vietnam and China to discuss cooperation for co-development. This was in accordance with international laws, including the 1982 United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea.
The discussions were held in a frank and open manner, where both sides clearly stated their views on cooperation for co-development at sea.
The experts’ third round of discussions took place in Nanning city, China on October 9-10, 2014.-VNA
