Vietnam’s Foreign Ministry spokesperson has expressed concern that the US’s latest decision on Jerusalem can have negative impact on peace and stability in the Middle East.

Hanoi (VNA)  – Vietnam’s Foreign Ministry spokesperson has expressedconcern that the US’s latest decision on Jerusalem can have negative impact onpeace and stability in the Middle East.

Noting that Vietnam has friendly and cooperative relations withall Middle East nations, including the Palestine and Israel, the spokesperson saidVietnam welcomes all regional and international efforts as well as those byrelated parties to peacefully deal with all conflicts and bring sustained peaceto the Middle East, for the interests and development of all countries in theregion, contributing to regional and world peace.

Vietnam reiterates its consistent stance on supporting thetwo-State solution, including the establishment of a Palestinian stateco-existing in peace with the Israeli state along the 1967 border line.

Vietnam holds that all solutions related to Jerusalem mustabide by international law, especially resolutions of the United Nations, andreceive consensus of related parties. -VNA
