13 condemned the bomb attacks in the Ugandan capital of Kampala.
“We were infuriated to hear of the two bomb attacks that took place in Kampala on July 11, which left many people dead and injured,” Nga said in response to correspondents’ query on Vietnam ’s reaction to the incidents the same day in Hanoi.
“We send our sincere condolences to the Ugandan government and the families of the victims,” she said.
“We strongly condemn such attacks against civilians and believe the perpetrators must be properly punished,” Nga said.
On the same day, State President Nguyen Minh Triet sent a message of condolences to Ugandan President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni.
World media reported that more than 64 people were killed and 70 others wounded in the two bomb blasts targeting innocent spectators watching the World Cup final in Kampala./.
