The Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF) and the Cuban Revolutionary Protection Committee (CRPC) senior officials on September 27 refreshed their traditional ties with strong commitments.

During his meeting with VFF Chairman Huynh Dam in Hanoi, Ruben Peres Rodriguez, Deputy Coordinator of the CRPC and deputy to the Cuban National Assembly of People’s Power, said though geographically far away, Cuba and Vietnam shared much in common and maintained special relations, including those between the VFF and CRPC.

“May traditional and special relations between the two Parties, States and peoples constantly develop,” emphasised the senior official of Cuba’s largest mass organisation, who is leading a delegation on a Vietnam visit.

The delegation is also to attend the seventh VFF Congress, which is scheduled to convene on September 28-30.

What he said has echoed Dam’s views, who described the CRPC delegation’s visit as a huge encouragement to the VFF and vivid evidence to special solidarity between the two countries./.
