Female designer Kelly Bui of HCM City will introduce her new trends for children on November 27. Her clothes in pink, green and black will be presented by boys and girls aged five to 11.

Designs from the Bomber Jacket Collection , a collection of jackets and coats for women co-produced by 20 designers, will be introduced and sold to raise funds for people living in flooded areas in the central provinces.

More than 70 fashion models, including top models such as Le Thuy and Minh Trieu, will be featured.

The event will include a trade exhibition which will offer opportunities for local fashion houses and designers to promote and sell their brand names.

To attract customers, several hundred designs will be displayed and on sale at a 10-30 per cent discount.

Dozens of leading garment and textile companies and fashion agencies will be invited to participate in the event exhibition.

Vietnam Designers Fashion Week was organised by a group of fashion designers and stylists to promote Vietnamese brand names and young designers.

“We want to create a place to connect Vietnamese brand names, designers and customers and to help young designers develop their business,” said Xuan Lan, the event’s catwalk director, one of the members of the organising board.-VNA
