Vietnam donates rice to Cambodian flood victims

ceremony held in Cambodia’s capital city of Phnom Penh on November 6.

Addressing the ceremony, Chairman of the
Cambodia National Assembly Heng Samrin stressed that the relief shows
the strong solidarity and friendship of the Vietnamese State and people
to Cambodia in difficult times.
Vietnamese
Ambassador to Cambodia Ngo Anh Dung offered his sympathy to the
families of Cambodian victims and expressed his hope that Cambodian
people will soon rebuild their communities after the devastation
triggered by recent floods.
The latest floods took the lives of 80 people and caused economic losses of around 1 billion USD.-VNA
