Vietnam took only 79.9 points from a draw against the Demoractic People’s Republic of Korea during the Millennium Cup earlier this month, while losing two friendlies to India and Kuwait last week.
The fall also meant Vietnam crashed out of the Asian top 10, and they now stand 21st in the continental rankings.
However, they remain No 3 in Southeast Asia as almost all the teams in the region also dropped places./.
