A Vietnam Film Night was held in the Belgian capital city of Brussels on November 11, celebrating the 40th anniversary of Vietnam-Belgium diplomatic ties.
In opening the programme, Vietnamese Ambassador to Belgium Pham Sanh Chau said this is the first time a Vietnamese film has been screened at the Galeries Cinema, one of the most modern screens in Brussels, adding that the event is a good opportunity to introduce Vietnamese films to international friends.
Many overseas Vietnamese in Belgium and local audiences praised the development of Vietnam’s filmmaking industry when enjoying a feature titled “My nhan ke” (Beauty Trap) directed by Nguyen Quang Dung which is one of the most renowned movies in the country over the recent past.-VNA
