A “New voices from Vietnam ” screening series will be presented in

A series of temporary movies will be on screen, including the “Floating Lives” by Quang Binh and “Clash” by Le Thanh Son, which are currently hot in Vietnam .
The event aims to boost the exchange of education and culture between the US and Vietnam under an international outreach programme launched by the US Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences.
On November 10, the Academy will hold a ceremony to salute director Dang Nhat Minh, author of popular classic films like Nostalgia for the Countryside, the Love Doesn’t Come Back and Don’t Burn, for his contribution to Vietnam ’s cinema industry.
His “Guava House” will be screened on this occasion./.
