Vietnam futsal team to play friendly matches with Malaysia
The national futsal team will play two friendly matches with Malaysia to prepare for the 2016 AFC Futsal Championship finals, which is scheduled to be held from February 10-21 in Uzbekistan.
Vietnam futsal team will compete in Malaysia. (Source: VNA)Hanoi (VNA) – The national futsal team will play two friendly matches with Malaysia to prepare for the 2016 AFC Futsal Championship finals, which is scheduled to be held from February 10-21 in Uzbekistan.
The two teams will meet each other on January 25 and 26.
At the AFC event, Vietnam have been drawn in Group C with Thailand, Hong Kong and Tajikistan, while Malaysia are in Group D with Japan, Australia and Qatar.
16 teams will play in the tournament, which acts as the AFC's qualifiers for the World Cup.
The top five teams will qualify for the 2016 FIFA Futsal World Cup in Colombia.-VNA
