Vietnam grateful for UNIDO assistance

Deputy Prime Minister Hoang Trung Hai madethe remark during a meeting with UNIDO Executive Director WilfriedLuetkenhorst in Hanoi on March 8. UNIDO’s global Industrial DevelopmentReport, which was recently launched in Vietnam, is a valuable resourcefor Vietnam, he said.

In response, Luetkenhorst said that Vietnamis among UNIDO’s important partners and that the country has gainedprogress in industrial development, which was represented in the report.

Thetwo sides exchanged ideas about the challenges facing development aswell as how to attract investment to high-value-added industries andsolve human resources issues./.

Vietnam, China sign 32 cooperation documents

The documents include a cooperation plan between the Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV) and the Communist Party of China (CPC) for the 2026–2030 period; a memorandum of understanding (MoU) on cooperation between the Organisation Commission of the CPV Central Committee and its Chinese counterpart; and a cooperation agreement between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Vietnam and the International Liaison Department of the CPC Central Committee.

Parliamentary leaders hail development of Vietnam – Russia ties
