A delegation of Vietnamese legislators led by Chairman of the National Assembly's Committee for External Affairs Nguyễn Văn Giàu attended the 135th General Assembly of the Inter-Parliamentary Union in Geneva, Switzerland, from Oct. 24-27. More than 700 lawmakers from 138 countries deliberated parliaments’ role in preventing conflicts caused by human rights abuses.
