Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee’s Chairman Huynh Dam on Nov. 25 sent a letter of congratulations to imams, assistants and the whole Muslim community on the occasion of the Muslim festival Raya Eidil Adha.

The Muslim community in Vietnam has embraced and followed the Party’s policies and strategies as well as the law, said Chairman Huynh Dam in the letter.

They have actively engaged in various campaigns to promote patriotism among the people and other movements initiated by the Vietnam Fatherland Front, especially the campaigns entitled “People unite to build a new cultural lifestyle in residential areas” and “Day for the Poor.”

“They have made a significant contribution to socio-economic development and security in each locality and in the country as a whole,” Chairman Dam emphasised.

He concluded the letter, expressing his hope that the Muslim community in Vietnam would continue to contribute more to the cause of building national solidarity as well as national defence and construction./.
