– Vietnam and Hungary will seek to step up their cooperation in economics, trade, investment, science-technology, education- training, healthcare, environment, security, and defence, during the upcoming visit by Hungary’s Prime Minister Viktor Orbán.

Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Le Thi Thu Hang made the statement at the ministry’s regular press conference on September 21, informing participating pressmen that Prime Minister Orbán Viktor will make an official visit to Vietnam from September 24-26 at the invitation of Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc.

PM Orbán Viktor will pay a courtesy call to Party General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong and State President Tran Dai Quang, hold talks with Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc, and meet Chairwoman of the National Assembly Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan. He will attend the Vietnam-Hungary Business Forum, Hang said.

The leaders will discuss measures to accelerate bilateral cooperation and exchange views on regional and international issues of shared concern, the spokesperson said.-VNA
