Vietnam will start out the 2015 ASEAN Football Federation (AFF) U19 Youth Championship in Group B alongside Myanmar, Timor-Leste, Singapore and Malaysia.

The AFF draw placed host Laos in Group A with Thailand, Australia, Brunei, the Philippines and Cambodia.

According to experts, Vietnam's key rival in Group B will be Myanmar, a team that has earned a ticket to compete in this year's World U20 Championship.

Vietnam won silver medals in 2013 and 2014.

This marks the 12th year of the tournament and will now be held in Laos since Indonesia, the initial host, was suspended by FIFA in May. The championship will take place from August 22 to September 4.

All 12 members of the AFF were set to play, starting off the first stage with three groups of four teams. With Indonesia's suspension, the AFF reverted to two groups of six and five teams.-VNA
