Two-way trade between Vietnam and India in the first nine months of 2013 reached 3.94 billion USD, up 39.2 percent against the same period last year, said Vietnamese trade counsellor in India Nguyen Son Ha in New Delhi on October 17.
According to Son, Vietnam’s export value to India hit 1.84 billion USD, up 49.6 percent, while its imports from India reached 2.1 billion USD, up 31.2 percent.
The Vietnamese Trade mission in India projects that bilateral trade turnover will surpass 5 billion USD by the year’s end, and 7 billion by 2015.-VNA
