Both Vietnam’s Olympic (or Under-23) football team and its Indonesian counterpart are looking for a win as they lock horns in a friendly match at the My Dinh Stadium on March 9.

Vietnamese Head Coach Toshyia Miura told reporters in a pre-match news conference that he always hopes for the best outcome in every match and the march 9 game is no exception.

The team will aim for a win but the most important thing is to focus on qualifying for the Asian Confederation Cup (AFC)’s U23 Championships 2016.

He expressed his players will play to the best of their best ability so I can select the best players for the final squad.

Meanwhile, Indonesian Olympic team Assistant Coach Muhammad Al Haddad said the match against Vietnam was his team’s final match in preparation for the Asian U23 qualifiers.

Haddad said his players look forward to the match and our players will do their best. He hoped the result pleases both teams.
