Eight students from Vietnam are attending 13th Asian Physics Olympiad (APhO) held in New Delhi from April 30 to May 7.
There are 21 nations attending the 13th APhO, which is organised by the Indian Association of Physics Teachers (IAPT) in collaboration with the Homi Bhabha Centre for Science Education (HBCSE). The results of APhO will be announced on May 7.
The Asian Physics Olympiad is currently the premier physics competition for pre-university students from Asian countries. It is modelled after the International Physics Olympiad (IPhO), and demands a similar level of intellectual capability from the participants. The contestants are selected from general or technical secondary schools of the respective participating countries.-VNA
