The congress elected Zhou Zhiqiang, Director of the Chinese National Drama Theatre, as chairman of the union for the first term.
Director of the Vietnam Drama Theatre Le Hung and Deputy Director of the Youth Theatre Truong Nhuan were elected to the Executive Committee of the Asian Stage Union.
Joining the Asian Stage Union is expected to offer more chances for Vietnam to boost cultural and artistic cooperation and exchanges with other members./.
