Vietnam team has jumped four steps to take the 133rd place in the latest January rankings, according to the International Federation of Association Football.

The Philippines rose one step to become the world's No 129 and took the lead in the Southeast Asian region, followed by Vietnam and Myanmar , in 141st place.

In Asia, Vietnam held the 19th position. The top three spots belonged to Iran , Japan and the Republic of Korea .

The world's leading 45 positions remained unchanged, with Germany taking the lead. The second and third places went to Argentina and Colombia , respectively.-VNA
