Vietnam is consistently keeping track of the situation in Ukraine and is concerned over the complicated developments in the country’s eastern provinces, Foreign Ministry spokesperson Le Hai Binh said on April 17.
“We hope all parties show restraint from using force and conduct no moves that make the situation more complex and cause damage for civilians,” Binh said in response to questions about Vietnam ’s stance on the current Ukraine situation.
Vietnam also hopes for efforts from all sides, through peaceful dialogue, to seek solutions that meet the legitimate interests of all parties and citizens for peace, stability and development in Ukraine and the region, he added.-VNA
