Vietnam keeps tracks of Ukraine situation: spokesperson

Vietnam is consistently keeping track of the situation in Ukraine and is concerned over the complicated developments in the country’s eastern provinces, Foreign Ministry spokesperson Le Hai Binh said on April 17.

“We hope all parties show restraint fromusing force and conduct no moves that make the situation more complexand cause damage for civilians,” Binh said in response to questionsabout Vietnam ’s stance on the current Ukraine situation.

Vietnam also hopes for efforts from all sides, through peacefuldialogue, to seek solutions that meet the legitimate interests of allparties and citizens for peace, stability and development in Ukraine andthe region, he added.-VNA
