Vietnam and Laos have agreed to share information and experience in the fight against trans-national, organised and cyber crimes, and human and drug traffickers via personnel training.

A document to this effect was signed by Vietnamese Minister of Public Security Tran Dai Quang and his Lao counterpart Thoong Ban Seng Aphon in Hanoi on December 27.

The two sides concluded that in 2013, they have effectively joined hands in safeguarding security and safety, contributing to the consolidation and development of the special relationship, solidarity and all-around cooperation between the two Parties, States and peoples.

Both host and guest also expressed thanks to each other for their assistance to the fight against crimes in the two countries.-VNA
