Vietnam, Laos armies to tighten ties

the General Logistics Department of the Lao People’s Army, Lieutenant
General Souphet Phayvisith, who headed a visiting delegation to
Vietnam.

The visit was made at the invitation of his Vietnamese counterpart, Nguyen Vinh Phu.
At the meeting, Duc expressed his support for the results of the discussion between the two countries’ General Logistics Departments to ally Vietnam-Laos army hospitals and exchange experiences in serving national defence, as well as on issues of mutual concern.
He affirmed the visit of Lieut. Gen. Phayvisit would help boost measures to implement cooperation plans between the two countries’ Defence Ministries and armies, contributing to improving and building the special solidarity and friendship between Vietnam-Laos Parties, Governments and people.
Lieut. Gen. Phayvisit thanked Deputy Defence Minister Le Huu Duc for his warm reception./.
