Vietnam, Laos sign 2013 education deal

Education and Sports signed an agreement on their 2013 cooperation plans
in Hanoi.

It will improve Vietnam-Laos cooperation in education and human resources development in the 2011-2020 period.
Under the agreement, Vietnam will receive 433 officials, students and postgraduates from Laos and provide short-term training to Lao teachers in 2013.
The two sides will propose measures to improve the quality of education, which will be submitted to the two Governments for consideration.
In addition, they will organise ministry-level delegation exchanges and create conditions for their education and training establishments to swap experiences./.VNA
