While in Laos from May 20-26, the delegation led by deputy head of the commission Le Hong Liem was received by Asang Laoly, Politburo member and Secretary of the Lao People’s Revolutionary Party (LPRP) Central Committee.
Asang Laoly, who is also Deputy Prime Minister and Head of the LPRP Central Committee’s Commission for Inspection, said exchanges of experiences between the two inspection commissions would contribute to strengthen special and comprehensive cooperation between the parties, states and people of Vietnam and Laos .
He stressed the importance of sharing information on party inspection, implementation of party policies and resolutions as well as the fight against corruption in each country.
Le Hong Liem spoke highly of the Lao socio-economic development and briefed Asang Laoly of outcomes of working sessions between the two sides, which, he said, contribute to increasing the Vietnam-Laos relations./.
