Vietnam finished on top at the 2012 Asian Youth Diving Championship held in the central city of Da Nang . They swam away with 14 gold, four silver and six bronze medals.
The Republic of Korea came second with five gold, ten silver and nine bronze medals. China followed with five gold, four silver and one bronze medal.
Meanwhile, at the 13th Asian Diving Championships, the RoK were positioned in first place with 15 gold, seven silver and five bronze medals. They beat off China and Taiwan ( China ), finishing second and third respectively. Vietnam claimed fourth place with two silver medals.
The two events, which took place on November 7-9, attracted 160 divers from regional countries and territories - including China, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Japan, Kazakhstan, the RoK, the Kyrgyz Republic, the Philippines, Taiwan (China), Thailand and host Vietnam.-VNA
