Vietnamese Dinh Thi Kim Loan won a gold medal at the Asian Bodybuilding and Physical Sports Championship on Oct. 3 in Singapore .
Loan, who competed in the under-50kg categories, successfully pocketed her third gold medal in a row.
She won a silver medal in the fitness event at the World Women's Bodybuilding Championship, which was organised at the same time and held in the same venue.
Her teammate Nguyen Thi My Linh pocketed two silver medals in the over-50kg class at both tournaments.
The world championship drew more than 50 top female bodybuilders.
These two events were held in conjunction with the Southeast Asia Men's Junior and Senior Bodybuilding Championships, where Vietnamese competitors excelled.
Nguyen Hai Au earned a gold medal in the senior's 70kg category. Nguyen Anh Tu triumphed in the 70kg event, Ninh Hai Phuoc won in the 80kg class and Le Hoai Thuong took a silver in the 60kg event. Thuong also secured a bronze medal in the open event.
Vietnam won the team event at the competition after racking up medals. The three tournaments kicked off on September 29 and finished on Oct. 4./.
