A Vietnamese delegation of senior officials has paid a working visit to Japan to study its management policies at the National Graduate Institute for Policy Studies.

The visit, which was wrapped up on March 14, was led by Nguyen Chi Dung, Chairman of the Ninh Thuan provincial People’s Committee and Vice Secretary of the province’s party committee.

During their stay, the delegation studied Japan ’s management experiences in public administration, economics and services.

They also paid a courtesy call to Minister of Home Affairs and Communications Kazuhiro Haraguchi and visited the Diet headquarters.

The visit was part of the Programme 165 on providing state funding for overseas training of leaders and managers.

The programme was launched following the decision of the Secretariat of the Communist Party of Vietnam’s Central Committee with the aim of improving capacity of managing officials of the country’s political system./.
