Vietnam ranks 14th after ASIAD 17’s 8th competition day

The Vietnamese team ended its eighth day of competing in ASIAD 17 in Incheon, the Republic of Korea (RoK) on September 27, ranking 14th with one gold, six silver and 20 bronze medals so far.

In the day, Vietnamese athletes secured two bronze medals, one in the men’s 10m running target event and one in the women’s sepak takraw competition.

Meanwhile, the Vietnamese track and field team earned three spots in the final, with Southeast Asia’s Sprinting Queen Vu Thi Huong expected to bring home a medal.-VNA
