In 2017, Vietnam had nearly 970,000 hectares of rubber.
The Association of Vietnam Timber and Forest Product reported natural rubber materials , rubber products, rubber wood and products are considered the sector’s three key export staples.
In 2017, total export turnover of the three groups of products exceeded 6.4 billion USD, contributing 5.4 percent to the country’s total export turnover./.
