The ranking of Internet access speed in 185
countries and territories in the world posted on the website on Jan. 27
showed that Vietnam places 46th in terms of average downloading
speed and 23rd in terms of uploading speed.
In Hanoi, Internet service provided by CMC has the highest downloading speed of
24.43Mbps, while VNPT which accounts for 71.3 percent of ADSL and 58.5
percent of FTTH market share only achieves 4.22Mbps.
In Ho Chi Minh City, CMC downloading speed also ranks first, following by FPT. VNPT ranks only fifth./.
